TOCS2023

The 4th International Conference on Telecommunications, Optics and Computer Science (TOCS2023) has been successfully held on December 15, 2023. The aim objective of TOCS2023 is to bring together researchers and scientists from telecommunications, optics, computer science and other related fields to discuss problems and solutions in the area, to identify new issues, and to shape future directions for research. This conference provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration.

At the beginning of the conference, the General Chair of the conference Prof. Sos S. Agaian from The City University of New York, USA, gave an opening speech for welcoming the scholars from home and abroad to share their research, and thanking all the experts and scholars who provided support and help to the conference, including all members of the Organizing Committee, Technical Program Committee, Keynote Speakers and so on.

During the keynote speeches, Professor Haibin Zhu from Nipissing University, Canada, delivered a speech on Group Role Assignment with Constraints (GRA+): A New Category of Assignment Problems.

Professor Ping Wang from York University, Canada, delivered a keynote speech on Towards Fast-Convergent Federated Learning.

Professor Xiaodong Liu from Edinburgh Napier University, UK, delivered a keynote speech on Challenges in the Next Generation of IoT-based Smart Systems and a Case Study.

Professor Pascal Lorenz from University of Haute Alsace, France, delivered the keynote speech on Advanced architectures of Next Generation Wireless Networks.

Professor Witold Pedrycz from University of Alberta, Canada, delivered the keynote speech on Interpretability and Credibility of Machine Learning Models: Designing Self-Awareness Mechanisms.

After the excellent keynote speeches, there was the oral sessions. During these sessions, some scholars presented their latest research results and exchanged views with the participating scholars on cutting-edge hot issues in the field of telecommunications, optics and computer science, showed their research results, and shared their learning and research experiences.
